After decades in racket sports, we set out to build something simple: a padel racket that delivers real performance, at an affordable price.
Founders Peter Hilton and Dave Cross have each spent over 40 years playing squash. That experience shaped how they think about rackets — how they should feel in the hand, perform under pressure, and deliver consistency over time.
More recently, Peter discovered padel and quickly fell in love with the sport.
In response, Pete and Dave designed a squash racket in the UK with a simple aim: exceptional quality at an affordable price, accessible for all.
That same thinking became the foundation of Vadetep Padel racket.
Working with his partner Jane, Pete brought that philosophy into padel.
The result is the Vadetep VPC Control 01: a teardrop-shaped padel racket designed for entry and intermediate players seeking a balanced blend of control and power, without paying a premium.
Vadetep rackets are deliberately priced to help make padel more accessible, without compromising on performance or build quality.
